Terms of Service

1. About PlayGrid
PlayGrid is a sports-venue booking platform that connects players with venues (“Venues”) for court reservations and open-play sessions. PlayGrid provides the software; the courts, sessions, and services are provided by the Venues themselves.
2. Accounts
We offer customer (player) accounts and venue owner/admin/staff accounts. You are responsible for the accuracy of your information and for keeping your login credentials secure. Venue owner accounts are created or invited by PlayGrid administrators; customers may self-register.
3. Bookings & payments
PlayGrid currently supports pay-at-venue payments only. PlayGrid does not yet process online payments and is not a payment processor or merchant of record. Any payment for a booking is collected by the Venue directly, at the venue, under the Venue’s own terms. The price shown at the time of booking reflects the Venue’s configured rate.
4. Venue responsibilities
Venues are solely responsible for their own pricing, availability, cancellation and refund policies, taxes, and any other venue-specific rules. Venues are responsible for honoring confirmed bookings, providing accurate venue and court information, and complying with all laws applicable to their operations. Cancellations and refunds are governed by each Venue’s policy — PlayGrid does not set or guarantee them.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, including attempting to disrupt the service, access data you are not authorized to access, or use PlayGrid for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
6. Service “as is” / limitation of liability
PlayGrid is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis during this MVP period. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayGrid is not liable for disputes between players and Venues, for a Venue’s acts or omissions, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.
7. Changes
We may update these terms as the product evolves. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. (Jurisdiction and venue clauses to be finalized with counsel.)
